Gunung Menumbing

Gunung Menumbing is a historical place and today this place is a museum. One of the place where Indonesia 1st President Bung Karno and Vice President Bung Hatta had been exile by the dutch in 1948-1949 Bangka Belitung. Gunung Menumbing is located around area of Mentok along west of Bangka Sea, with height of 335 meter long above the sea level.

For tourists who are interested to come and see this place is very welcome, thus they have a guesthouse which is already been approved by Republic of Indonesia, and until now the place condition is still maintained, by having Abdi Dalem Sultan Palace and his families as the guard we are indeed lucky, he has been around since from the beginning through generation his family is always loyal to this place.
