Kota Muntok

City of Muntok is the capital of Bangka Belitung Islands. Muntok is and old city that are used to be the heritage of dutch community and long before Independent Day for Indonesia, this particular place is also used for port and harbor to everyday basis, served to produce sources for the dutch to be send from here to government of Indies dutch towards Europe. Even after Independent Day, source of dutch belonging and places is still seen here in Muntok along with the Chinese and Malaysia bulding. Bangka Barat is a small place but it has a lot of history to be shared, with history of an old museum and temple are also easy to find.​

Another interesting place also occured is in one of the white builing called Mercusuar Tanjung Kalian, near Pantai Tanjung Kalian. This Mercusuar have 117 step of round rock stairs. An old history of WW ll also can be seen through this amazing view and height, perfect for us to take a picture and scenery, with the wind blowing softly and to have relaxation. Night time, the light of Mercusuar also can be been clearly trough radius of 5 km direction down the sea. used for quarters ship all around.
